Founded in 1986 by and for artists and audiences, Saratoga Arts is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to developing and promoting a thriving year-round cultural environment in the Saratoga region's communities. Directed by a professional staff and a volunteer Board of Directors, with support from dozens of volunteers and hundreds of members Saratoga Arts enriches the lives of residents and visitors, and has established itself as a vital force for the arts. Among its many activities are adult art classes and childrens' art camps, innovative exhibitions in The Arts Center Gallery, grant programs that have awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding from the New York State Council of the Arts for local arts and arts-in-education, the popular Horses, Saratoga Style outdoor sculptures, and now First Night, Saratoga.
